guinea pigs
we were the school's experiment tools.
floorball is going to close down.
next year.
monday, mdm lim looked for me after A level MT papers.
i handed to her the attendance list.
i was able to predict what she was going to say actually when she said she wanted to talk to me.
she looked at the attendance, she asked me whether i knew that SIA can only sustain if the attendance percentage is greater than 80%.
yes, i replied.
'judging from this, most probably floorball cannot sustain till next year. i want to let you have a mental preparation. i will discuss it with mrs wee(HOD of PE/CCA), if floorball cant sustain, i will make an announcement when school reopens to officially inform you and your committee members about the closing down of CCA.'
i looked at her.
i said ok.
she looked at me, thought i was going to cry, and asked if i was all right.
yes, i was fine.
even thought i was able to predict the future of floorball, when i have so many members who dont turn out for CCA claiming that they were already very good, all they wanted were just a match with IJC, for just that couple of seconds, i knew i almost cried.
NO!
i cant cry!
i should be angry instead.
perhaps.
mrs lim said, this year was actually the first year pjc allowed students to initiate new CCAs.
the school wanted to try out, wanted to let teachers gain some experience.
and they neglected the students!
our principal keep emphasising the importance for A level CCA testimonial, yet they are totally unprepared for their new plan.
the least they can do is that for every SIA there should have a teacher attached to it.
at least, the pressure is there, CCA members will not have the mindset of sian-lah-pon-cca.
but NO!
that's not the case, the school wants us to be more involve in CCA yet their actions showed that they were just fleecing the sheeps during winter time.
they allowed students to initiate new CCAs but they dontgive a damn bother about us at all.
PJ LIVE, interact club, floorball, cuesport, cheerleading, all SIAs were given the hopes, but lets face the reality, we were just their experimental subjects!!
